MUMBAI: Times Television Network’s (TTN) hybrid English entertainment channel Romedy Now has launched three special properties to bring to viewers a special line-up of movies this summer. ‘Hangout’, powered by Micromax, will showcase entertaining movies from Monday to Wednesday at 6 pm throughout the month.
Movies that will be showcased in this segment include the foot-tapping penguin story ‘Happy Feet’, ‘Spanglish’ (which has an honest Mexican domestic help trying to get her teenage daughter to stick to her roots and values while working in the household of a celebrated chef and his insecure wife) and ‘Bee Movie’ (where humans get sued by a bee for eating all their honey), ‘Little Manhattan’ (two 11-year-olds falling in love in), ‘The Ant Bully’ (flooding an ant colony with his water gun, Lucas Nickle shrinks to insect size) and other movies like ‘Big’, ‘Chasing Liberty’, ‘Say Anything’, ‘Anastasia’ and ‘Aquamarine’.
In ‘Romedy Heartthrob’, powered by Maruti Swift, Hugh Grant will steal the viewers’ hearts every Monday at 11 pm with movies like ‘Two Weeks Notice’, ‘Music and Lyrics’, ‘Did You Hear about the Morgans’ and ‘Nine Months’. What does it take for an immature, reckless and self-absorbed billionaire real estate tycoon to find true love?
A hard working and devoted attorney who serves him a two weeks’ notice tired of his self-importance to make them both realize that they are more than boss and employee. Watch Hugh Grant as George Wade and Sandra Bullock as Lucy Kelson in the movie ‘Two Weeks Notice’. Other movies to be aired in the time band include ‘Nine Months’, ‘Music and Lyrics’ and ‘Did You Hear About the Morgans’.
