Star Gold is excellently using their prime time slot. They have given prime time slot to movies which regularly doesn't air. This is properly usage of the diverse library they got.

2 more renewals from sony airing tomorrow on Star Gold 2 and Star Utsav Movies - Gundaraj and Elaan... Songs seems to have been deleted from Elaan as runtime is less with ads. Star/disney needs to stop removing songs from films which ruins experience, i have shared feedback on this multiple times with th but sadly no changes implemented till now

Not always but from few films and sometimes even these films get aired with sings. Hero No. 1, Coolie No. 1, Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Shola aur Shabnam, Humraaz etc usually have songs cut but on few occasions they r aired with songs.

Try to tweet to them on this, i will do so again.... Hopefully they will make required changes soom

I do not understand why zee just keeps repeating movies continuosly which r set to expire soon from their network ..... Holiday, Commando Series, Entertainment, Main Tera Hero, Dhamaal, No Problem, Gopi Kishan, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and many more just airing 10 to 15 in a week. Also other regular movies too keep airing over and over, they r not using big bollywood library properly which would help them compete well with star/disney

Also i had thought sony would give adequate airtime to T Series films across chs after YRF exit and don't let T Series feel that visibility of their films r less on sony hindi movie chs but it does not look like happening. Sony can very well manage a good new age bollywood channel and compete with others but seems to b not thinking about doing this, mix of new popular, good post 2000s films, some 90s films and some offbeat ones (on hd feed) would work great.... Just like how star/disney schedules content on star gold.

Lastly Colors Cineplex needs to have more bollywood films on Colors Cineplex SD till Colors Cineplex Bollywood is available across operators, they have nice bollywood library and will get good ratings.

All in all till now Star/disney is only network outstandingly managing to run flagship (star gold, star gold 2) , secondary (utv movies and free dish channel (star utsav movies) with bollywood films forming backbone of content line up.... Not only this they r only network having a hollywood dubbed movie channel and a bollywood channel for offbeat cinema which is well distributed

Even zee is doing fine well renewal movies will be aired on all channels like zee action and zee anmol cinema after zee bollywood and &pictures yes every network repeats some movies even star gold repeated most of the movies and zee also very aggressive in renewing movies specially from Disney-Star once the merger all process completes both Zee and sony starts roaring.

No buddy.... Star/disney miles ahead of zee both in acquiring, renewing or scheduling films. Zee has big bollywood library but only 40 or 50 films get repeated across chs, only few different films visible on chs.

Deleting songs and chopping high voltage actions scenes trend started by star in 2010 due to single movie channel and that time star gold was full on fire in acquiring movies so they took this step now except sony all networks do this.

Even Viacom18 rarely does this, zee is also improving in this regard. All broadcasters know audience loves watching bollywood films with its songs, without songs experience gets diluted

I agree with Dino bro. Zee keeps repeating same movies at Primetime. How many times do you expect viewers to watch Kesari or Good News on Zee Cinema HD? Sometime air something different like Star Gold HD is doing with Sholay and Baghban. They charge half the amount Zee Cinema does for the channel. They also have too many channels so their library is felt heavily repetitive.
