Does FOX Star Studios controls ADAM TV & Digital rights ? If so then there can be a possibility that other FOX Star / UTV - Dharma films might revert back to Star. I would like to know @dino29 perspective regarding this considering he has vast knowledge about indian film industry.

all these movies sold by Dharma productions once rights expired from Viacom it will move to Fox Star Studios hand and they will control the Satellite and digital rights of movies like ADAM, Student of the year 2.

Similarly Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films sold most of movies to Jio Studios and later Jio Studios sold to Star and Netflix, once agreement expires all these movies coming back to Dinesh/Maddock Films hand.

Even Chennai express distributed by utv but viacom18 renewed it we can't say what will happen in future.

Chennai express Satellite Rights with Shahrukh Khan's Red Chillies. Did you remember when Star launched Hotstar initially entire UTV Movie library including Chennai express, Heropanti, Joker, Rowdy Rathore, Thank you, Baaghi, Swades, Rang de basanti streamed in Hotstar.

Recently Hotstar added Khosla Ka Ghosla movie, so there is High possibility of adding remaining movies including Chennai express Hindi version, Baaghi.

I think Dharma Productions has rights of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, though very soon all Dharma Production films might shift to star/disney. Remember this film premiered on Colors, Fox Star is just the distributor of this movie. Star/disney presently owns those Dharma Production films which it has co produced with them

Dasvi satellite rights officially confirmed with Colors Cineplex . So now it is 100% confirmed that Maddock - Jio deal has ended with Star and New Partnership is with Viacom . This is a big loss for Star

Maddock Films might still b with star/disney. Those co produced with Jio will not be with star/disney as can b seen in above snapshot. So most probably reliance is ending partnership with star/disney which was ongoing at multiple fronts. Already Viacom18 films stopped airing on UTV, i believe Star is not lead sponsor of Jio MAMI right now... Even Tata Play does not add service channel for it anymore during event duration and now Jio Studios deal has ended

There is difference between these two deals

In 1st case Dharma Productions held rights of ADHM and Viacom18 tv network got it bcoz of their agreement with them. Student Of The Year was distributed again by either Dharma Productions or Red Chillies, in 2012 i think both these banners did not have an exclusive satellite rights partner hence deal must have happened for particular movie with sony. Sony also got Cineyug films which were co produced with Red Chillies bcoz of its ongoing agreement with Cineyug, later Red Chillies acquired rights of all these films and these shifted to Viacom18. Ye Jawaani Hai Deewani and Gippi r Dharma Productions films which were distributed by UTV back in 2012 and Sony also got these two from UTV, later Dharma Productions got back rights of these films and recently they have shifted to Viacom18

Regarding Maddock Films which r co produced by Jio Studios, could b that Jio will continue holding rights for same or after certain period Maddock will get back rights... All depends on agreement terms . Eventually these films will b with the broadcaster which has deal with respective banner at that moment

Since star/disney has excellent relationship with shemaroo so it could also b a scenario where they have decided to hand over UTV Motion Pictures film library to them as these expire from Netflix

Yeah not all time, sometimes distributor Distributing Satellite and Digital Rights, I said about SOTY 2 it will moving to Fox Star Studios hand once rights expires from Dharma productions

UTV Films were not with hotstar as far as i remember.

when Star launched digital OTT app Hotstar except UTV, SKF, ADF, Shemaroo library movies nothing offers new On Hotstar, after acquiring some Sports Rights they got oxygen from Jio to reach everywhere to show Free Live sports

If one super star do just ad with one network then how possible that star's every movie shift to that network.if that possible then Salman khan do big boss with colour .he produced Kapil Sharma show on Sony & his current satellite deal with Zee & he also do just ad SRK ( SRK +) .dino don't be biased .if one super star do Just ad with star how entrie labery shift to Disney+ star ???

Well buddy, u r comparing two entirely different things. Each of these have a different context. It is clear from disney+hotstar ads that some big content featuring SRK is set to arrive on the platform. What has it got to do with Salman Khan hosting Bigg Boss on Colors or producing Kapil Sharma Show for Sony?

I am as unbiased as one can b be. I guess u r a new member and do not know efforts i put in to share feedback with various broadcasters. Also my comments r based on ground situation. If star/disney or any other broadcaster is doing something good or bad or what possible changes can happen on them based on my observations , all these r reflected in comments without taking sides
