No buddy, depends on broadcasters like zee shares movies from so many banners with B4U and other FTA chs. Star/disney shares select few films with B4U. Viacom18 mostly shares just films which it had acquired from goldmines with goldmines owned movie chs, they had sharing agreements with star india and UTV in past which included films they owned from various banners. Sony briefly shared few YRF films around 2011/12. Star India shared many films with UTV back in around 2010, Zee too shared films with UTV near about same time.
YRF is indeed quite strict with its policies, when salman khan sir had exclusive agreement with star india still YRF films starring him did not come to star india bcoz YRF did not sell rights of these films to Salman Khan sir. In an article i read some days back it was stated that YRF is only banner which owns IP rights of its entire film library while other banners these days join hand with corporates and have a different policy

Dude hold on never underestimate any 1 nothing is permanent just wait for 2 3 months sony-zee will start their real game merger is under process when zee library airs in sony everything will be change sony SD/HD pq is enough to kick other broadcasters.Really star/Disney is managing bollywood library very well according to @dino29
Krishna Cottage and Tom d*ck & Harry being very decent movies are given good airtimes in prime time on UTV Movies tomorrow, luckily they are aren't with Sony or Zee
Hope then Chain Kuli Ki Main Kuli, Swades, Rock on, Rock On 2, Don (2006), Hijack, 102 Not Out, Manjunath, Shikhar, Gulabo Sitabo also get airings in prime time then.......@Jaffer7080
Well buddy what is stopping zee from utilizing its massive bollywood library properly right now. Well all i can say is that zee can perform quite well if it starts giving various different bollywood films space on its channels which is not happening till now. Though i have shared such detailed feedback on content strategy, audio quality, channel revamp/rebrand and various other things with their hindi movie cluster head and i do hope these changes r implemented soon.
By the way even if Sony / zee does bring in required changes star/disney will still pose very tough competition to them so they need to constantly improve to match the competition. Sony has good picture and audio quality but so does star/disney hindi movie cha, infact Picture Quality of Sony Wah has reduced in past few months , also picture / audio can surely help contribute to get high viewership but good content still is most important thing without which channels cannot succeed
