Well buddy what is stopping zee from utilizing its massive bollywood library properly right now. Well all i can say is that zee can perform quite well if it starts giving various different bollywood films space on its channels which is not happening till now. Though i have shared such detailed feedback on content strategy, audio quality, channel revamp/rebrand and various other things with their hindi movie cluster head and i do hope these changes r implemented soon.

By the way even if Sony / zee does bring in required changes star/disney will still pose very tough competition to them so they need to constantly improve to match the competition. Sony has good picture and audio quality but so does star/disney hindi movie cha, infact Picture Quality of Sony Wah has reduced in past few months , also picture / audio can surely help contribute to get high viewership but good content still is most important thing without which channels cannot succeed
Like how IPL and delayed aunching star gold romance/thrills stopping Disney-Star to give proper timings for yrf films and new renewals same merger stopping sony-zee to utilise their library compare to other broadcasters zee has massive library bollywood hollywood and south dubbed it will take time to implement just wait till the merger entire process ends soon u will see the real game.

Dude hold on never underestimate any 1 nothing is permanent just wait for 2 3 months sony-zee will start their real game merger is under process when zee library airs in sony everything will be change sony SD/HD pq is enough to kick other broadcasters.
For mainstream TV viewers, PQ/AQ still does not matter. Had it been that case, we would have seen major adoptions in HD channels and by now, broadcasters would be in position to literally discontinue SD feeds and stay with HD for better PQ/AQ offering. Also, if you see Star’s HD channels, they are at par with Sony. Can’t say the same for SD but at least the aspect ratio of Star gold SD is better than Sony Max SD.

However, in the end, it’s always content that matters. We will need to accept the fact that star/Disney has indeed built very strong base of Bollywood movies & has even benefitted from it while other broadcasters were busy in airing south dubbed films and restricted Bollywood films to unwatchable slots. I really hope once the Zee-Sony merger happens, we will get to see good bollywood films in day time slots. Zee is indeed very terrible in managing library despite holding so many good Bollywood titles. I really hope Sony will notice this and adopt strategies accordingly.

Well u r comparing a content strategy decision taken by star/disney to halt airing of few films to zee network not airing many bollywood films for no understandable reason. It is clearly logical why IPL has led to star/disney keeping certain film premieres on hold while certain films have been rested to generate interest among viewers when Star Gold Romance and Thrill is launched. Still star/disney is airing so many bollywood films at present across their hindi movie chs

Can u state one reason why right now zee cannot air large number of bollywood films which r part of its library? There is no reason for it except that they r focusing more on dubbed south indian films. Even if there was any big event being aired across their chs or they were launching any new hindi movie still it would have impact on few films which will b aired later but what we r seeing on zee hindi movie channels has no connection to this

For ur information, merger has no impact on how zee can use its current bollywood movie library, they can utilize its bollywood movie library like they could have in pre merger phase and air all these bollywood films across their chs. Merger only helps in integration of library which means sony and zee can create a common library post making changes in agreement with concerned content owners/banners and hence air these movies on channels of both networks like u saw with Panipat or Mulk which were with zee but post integration aired even on sony max.

Your argument would hold true for Sony as it has lost many bollywood films and hence can have a frequent decrease or increase in bollywood films aired on their hindi movie chs till integration of film library with zee happens but reverse is not true.

Buddy, first try to understand what i am stating rather than just defending zee where they r actually at fault

Well buddy am not defending zee or sony its just a prediction from my side. Every 1 has to face ups and downs even Disney-Star faced bad time in 2017-18 they lost lots of banners and films to zee, Sony and viacom18 disney who saved star right time. Same situation for sony-zee coming days their will be lots of surprises and changes in all broadcasters.
