Salaakhen (1998) renewed by Disney-Star, airing tomorrow afternoon on Star Utsav Movies

There is a possibility that even Sarfarosh (1999) might soon shift from zee to disney-star
I hope then Sarfarosh, Zakhm and Shool get prime airing on Star Gold Thrills (these are so much underrated national Award winning movies, just like Lagaan and Gadar).

Wait a little more, it will surely get prime slot airing once Star Gold Romance gets launched
That's why I can see, at the Time, when nearly a new channel is going to be launched with existing channels, many movies are renewed, that's what happened at the Time of launch of Zee Bollywood, &Xplor HD and Colors Cineplex Bollywood.
But Zee was like they renewed around 15 to 20 movies, Viacom18 mostly renewed movies from Sony, some from zee and 2-3 movies from Disney-Star. It may be just like taking some movies on rent for 5/6/7 yrs to make the channel work, then return it to previous rival network or let other rival network renew those movies.
Disney-Star is whole lot different imho, they constantly renewes movies than other rival network does (50+ movies constantly per year, and rival network - 4 or 5) per year), so only few of them maybe on rental basis for making new launching channels work and rest may be normal renewals or to build Bollywood audience base (just as Dino bhai said). Disney-Star plans are wide.

Now MH1 Dil Se channel is airing movies which are part of Zee Bollywood Movie Library....Sarkar 3 airing right now....Jism airing tonight while Chatur Singh Two Star, Behen Hogi Teri, Adharm, Kisna scheduled to air in next few days.

This channel already airing many other good popular and critically acclaimed bollywood movies which r owned by various library companies. Also airs some low budget dubbed hollywood movies. Indeed slowly it is transforming into a nice hindi movie channel

Now zee is renting out its bollywood movie library to B4U Kadak/Movies/Dhamaka Movies B4U, Cinema TV / Wow Cinema, Abzy Movies, BFlix, and some other FTA channels. Also Shemaroo network channels occasionally air their bollywood movies and its service channel Miniplex/Bollywood Premiere too airs bollywood as well as dubbed south indian movies from zee network library.

Even Airtel South Masala, Tata Play South Talkies airs some dubbed south indian movies from Zee Network library.

So Zee is having syndication agreement with many companies and its channels for its movie library while on their own channels only handful of bollywood movies get repeated on a daily basis.

Viacom18 too shares its some movies from its film library with few FTA channels or service channels. Sony shares films with shemaroo channels/service channels. Disney-Star shares very few bollywood movies with some FTA channels namely B4U, Shemaroo
