Brilliant News. Good to see zee finally renewing more bollywood movies from pre 2015 period and past decades. These movies hold immense repeat + entertainment value, now zee needs to focus on improving its content/scheduling strategy and air wide variety of bollywood movies across its hindi movie channels. Showcasing different bollywood movies with minimal repetition will ensure that they get good ratings and even rebuild/expand its bollywood movie audience base which it would have lost bcoz of dubbed south indian movies getting featured more on their channels since last 5 or 6 years
Game is with viacom18 and rights r with Eros. When and if Excel Films gets back its rights then it may be renewed by the concerned broadcaster having ongoing agreement with them. Excel Films likely to exit zee soon and shift to disney-star or viacom18. Talaash (2012) rights r with Reliance Entertainment
I still feel Tips old movie library might b with zee and forthcoming movies will continue to have Disney-Star has satellite/OTT partners. Also it remains to be seen if Zee has signed short term or long term agreement for old movie library of Tips Films and whether same has been signed directly with Tips or thru some library company . These days some banners itself r having agreement with multiple broadcasters wherein new and old movies r held by different broadcasters.

Best thing is zee airing renewal movies in prime time on 2nd Main movie channel &pictures.

Disney-Star is already awake and has been renewing so many bollywood, dubbed hollywood and hollywood movies since last so many years. If u follow the concerned threads on the forum or keep a tab on daily schedule of Disney-Star English / Hindi Movie Channels then u would know that Disney-Star has been leading the race for quite a long time.
In last one year Disney-Star may have had fewer new bollywood movie premieres bcoz their agreement with certain banners/actors had ended but they have again tied up with various actors/studios/banners hence in coming time again many new bollywood movies too will get premiered across their hindi movie channels. Also in a way it is good to not overspend on new movies as they mostly lack entertainment quotient or repeat value and rather acquire more bollywood movies from past decades which garner extremely good ratings on TV. Disney-Star gladly has been doing the same and thus has achieved lot of success and is only broadcaster which airs maximum bollywood movies on its channels
As far as dubbed hollywood / hollywood movies r concerned. Again they have agreement with their sister concern studios Marvel, 20th Century Studios, Disney, Searchlight Pictures, Lifetime as well as signed movie output deals with Warner Bros, Lionsgate, Universal Pictures (includes movies from Focus Features), Paramount Pictures, MVP Entertainment, Indo Overseas Films, Hallmark, Sony Pictures / Columbia Pictures , Studio Canal, Voltage Pictures, Vertigo Entertainment, Dreamworks and many more
Filmkraft Productions movie library likely to exit zeee very soon.
Parth Productions movie library recently renewed by Ultra and quite possible that Jaal - The Trap, Jurm (2005) will exit zee soon and shift to Disney-Star.
Agreement of many other banners likely to end with zee very soon.
Pen Studio movie library might shift to their own channel BFlix or Disney-Star might be their new partner
