There was a point that highest number of viewers who are actually on DTH gets to watch it. Even Star aired Sita Raman yesterday.

Actually Cable TV viewers r still more compared to DTH subscriber base but yes DTH contributes more revenue to broadcasters. If there is channel blackout on Major Cable TV Platforms then ratings suffer huge drop.

Since during the ongoing dispute between broadcasters and Cable TV Platforms, channels were available only on DTH and few Cable TV Platforms so broadcasters crafted content strategy accordingly...they aired movies which r popular but not the ones which drive key ratings/ ad revwbue4 specially on weekends like Bhool Bhulaiya, Rowdy Rathore etc. Such movies r scheduled in a way which attracts good response from viewers as well as advertisers

Fire Of Love (2022) will also be premiered tonight at 11 PM on Star Gold Select. It is multiple award winning and highly acclaimed National Geographic Channel Original Documentary Movie which will also have simulcast premiere on Star Movies tonight at 11 PM regarding which i had listed out information 2 days back in English Movie premiere thread.

Good to see Star Gold Select airing documentaries dubbed in Hindi. In my feedback to them i had requested them to air such documentaries on this channel, hopefully in future they will air more of such content on this channel. There r lots of good documentaries in library of Nat Geo, HBO, Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures and other independent companies which can be aired on Star Gold Select

What r u referring to by stating that it can't u seen on schedule? Broadcasters must have reworked schedule and then published the same and so we r getting to see the same listed on EPG

My cable ACC. A Siti affliate was always working throughout the protest period with all channels. I have heard other smaller operator were also working.

On schedule we can't look what's airing next day until 7-8 pm on either tv schedule apps, channel's website or cable/dth EPG. Although they air promos of upcoming content from a week prior itself.

Siti Cable is not part of AIDCF which is why u kept getting the channels. Many Large MSO's and their local cable tv affiliates r part of AIDCF and on all such networks blackout of channels happened


Buddy broadcasters may alter scheduling beforehand and then publish final schedule and at some occasions do such changes at last moment. You may not be able to get to know about it unless in latter case if u were to watch a movie at a particular time but some other gets aired. Giving an example of the 1st case where schedule changes happen beforehand, u can see that Thank You , Ram Setu premiere got postponed few days prior to schedule of channel being published by broadcasters hence we got to see only the altered schedule .

All i am saying is the bcoz of channels blackout on leading platforms there were changes made in scheduling of movies by operators but as by Friday night temporary resolution was arrived at and channels were back on air hence they would have made revisions to schedule and informed advertisers on the same thereby reverting back to old ad slot rates
