Yes, since losing YRF and possibly some other rights they r trying to give bollywood more space on Wah but honestly too little too late and very few options left to acquire new stuff. Already Zee and Star have signed long deals with diff productions / stars. Sony has strong retro, 80s 90s film library but will not be able to give competition interms of having more recent films. Also i m noticing some Eros Films getting on Disney bandwagon, if this turns true then Star India will be miles ahead. By the way who is getting Dharmesh Darshan movies as quite sure it is moving out from Zee, Sony might grab it as it building up strong library of Akshay Kumar movies after taunt on Kapil Sharma show.

These days there r various Sooryavansham kind of rampant repeats of diff movies across chs, people should stop singling out Sony atleast now :)
NH Studioz has deal with Sony. If Gulabo Sitabo distributed by NH Studioz then Sony will get rights

Afsana pyar ka rights with Shemaroo this was bound to happen. Noticed that Sony is gaining those films which are suitable for night/early morning viewing like the Vishesh Films catalogue which includes
Zeher, Tumsa Nahin Dekha(Home Network), Kalyug, Gangster etc
Vishesh films all movies not moving to Sony
Fox Star Theatrical Distributed Vishesh films movies already moved Star and sometimes Telecasting on UTV movies

NH Studioz is just distributor, producers have final call for satellite rights unless they sell rights to some 3rd party. Also Mr. Shoojit Sircar will prefer going with Zee or Star as he has seen Piku being completely ignored on Sony Network

Yes, but still Vishesh Films library might be available on both Star n Sony, reason being ongoing deal or nature of deal signed. Still not sure if exclusive agreement will happen bcoz their films r not working well so bulk deal won't interest broadcaster... Shared model will work fine for all stakeholders

So both YRF and Vishesh films have two Satellite Partner Sony and Star
In layman terms, Sony pre–Thugs of Hindostan and Star since War. However it has been rumoured that Disney (whether Star or UTV) may pick up some older YRF movies that are not so famous, I think films like Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Aurangzeb and Pyaar Impossible. But nothing has materialised.

Can anyone get the viewership measure(trp) of world television premiere of Marjaavaan that was premiered yesterday (29 Feb) on Sony max
