Housefull 2 and highway got recently added by shemaroo so which network has chances of renewing them sony or colors???since highway has already expired from star and H2 is on repeat across star channels

I think TV rights of Housefull 2 had already been renewed again by Disney Star....also now it seems rights of old movies of Ajay Devgn Sir, Akshay Kumar Sir and even movie production banners like NG Grandson r being sold to library companies like Shemaroo, Ultra etc. who r then signing movie output agreements with various broadcasters hence we may see lot of changes as far as who renews TV rights of these movies bcoz it won't be dependent on which broadcaster currently owns the film library of old movies of these actors / banners as same is part of earlier signed agreement but now post expiry of agreement period when these movies will be awaiting renewal then which broadcaster buys the rights will be decided on who owns the satellite rights at that point of time (banner,actor or library company)

Adding to the above point, most probably the reason why many actors and movie production banners would be selling movie rights to Library companies rather than directly to broadcasters would be that these days broadcasters r very cautious of not buying movies at high cost hence actors or banners might be facing difficulties in arriving at mutually acceptable decision as far selling price of rights of these movies r concerned while by selling movies in bulk deal to library companies which have various avenues like satellite + youtube + OTT to monetise content there is strong possibility of both library companies as well as actors/movie production banners being benefited from it.....library companies sell these movies in bulk deals to various broadcasters and here as they have very large movie catalogue hence the partnership continues for a long duration where shuffling of movie rights happen across different channels.

Shemaroo is also planning to launch its own movie channels so having vast bollywood movie library will help them a lot....i think soon Ultra will also launch its movie channels

Boss is a viacom18 movie production banner so it is unlikely to shift but yes other movies like Khatta Meetha, Khiladi 786 etc. might shift to Disney Star soon if Akshay sir owns its rights

Even omg was also a Viacom18 studios movie but still shifted to star gold
