Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

YRF classics getting due on max 2 there are lot of films under yrf classics, Kabhi Kabhi is aired mostly, tomorrow Anil Kapoor's Vijay is being aired. Ajay Devgan might sell one if his films to Sony with Jigar and Gundaraj being aired regularly on Max2.

there is big list which is lying idle, only in last few weeks they r giving 9AM slot to some of them.

All Yash Chopra directorials air in the 3:30 slot on Max2, All YRF films mostly air on that slot

Bawarchi, Kati Patang, Guddi, Anand, Chashme Baddoor, Golmaal, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Khoonsurat, Khatta Meetha, Chhoti Si Baat, Guddi, , Chupke Chupke and many others.... Sony is just airing few ones on Max 2 primarily YRF ones

Rajesh khanna films won't leave Sony, NP Singh personally is interested in those film
 
It is a fairly recent film and the rights are with T-series, Sony has done a good job in it so I think it would be a requested movie that's why it us airing it.
Hindi Medium is fairly popular and I don't see it leaving Sony so soon. Hope the same treatment is also displayed towards Tumhari Sulu, also a T-Series movie.

Sony is indirectly encouraging us to buy PVR recording boxes, so that we do not have to sit up late at night to watch them. Then again, it is a wastage of electricity! :lol:
