Bro when u look at Sony max 2, it not entering in the top 5 trp list because most of the movies are already watched by the people. Still max 2 manages them really well. Add revenue is the extra source of income. The main thing is the trps that the networks are concerned about.
Sony max has many dubbed movies but not all of them provide trps.
Sony max getting high trps because of recent success is bollywood movies like Pati patni or woh, Marjaavaan, Kabir singh, batla house. And bollywood movies like pk, 3 id*ots, tiger zinda hai, sultan, munna Bhai MBBS, Dilwale, heropanti, Aashiqui 2,chak de India, Bhootnath returns And they have started to show bollywood movies like sarbjit, tumhari sulu, ram leela, DDLJ, Mohabbatein, dhoom series, Mubarkan etc
Even they gave best tribute to Irfan khan, rishi kapoor by showing their bollywood movies all day. Plus South movies like bahubali series, kgf, allu Arjun movies and few Hollywood ones as well. Sony managing the bollywood, Hollywood and selected South movies really well. Where's as star continuously loosing trps because of repeating movies. They have good bollywood library but not utilizing them properly . Zee is even doing better than Foxstar +Disney in managing their bollywood movies and they are also getting more trps than star

Well i can list out so many movies classics or new ignored by Sony . Max2 is dependent on ads like any other ch, subscription is minor contributor.. What i stated was that investment and returns is what works well for it.TRP break up is required to determine ch performance. Regarding Star it is doing fairly well and repeats will reduce once new agreements r in place and old expires, same happening on other networks too but Sony hardly has new bollywood films hence repetition seems less but still visible... Star also has separate Hollywood Dubbed movie ch too

Sony has many new bollywood movies since 2017 that I mentioned yesterday like Sonu ke titu Ki sweety, Hindi medium,Batla house, Kabir singh, Pati patni or woh, Marjaavaan, Pagalpanti, Tumhari sulu, Tiger zinda hai, sultan, hichki, sui dhaga etc and upcoming premiers like Malang, street dancer, SMZS, and small ones like Jai mummy di, shikara. Proper management is required which sony max (specially hd one) and zee does a lot better. Foxstar +Disney has bollywood movies but need to utilize them properly

But airing movies in late night slot doesn't provide that much trps as they do in the day time (morning, afternoon or 8,9 pm night slot). And most of the movies u mentioned that Sony plays both in day and late night slot like ek tha Tiger, paan singh tomar, ram leela, Chak de India, fan, dhoom series queen, murder series, gunday etc are all blockbusters too, how can u say that they are not worth watching
I didnt say that all are not worth watching. The ones which you have mentioned are all very good but they are not aired in day time which is one of the major drawbacks of sony

Ram leela aired few days back at afternoon slot . on max Even fan, ek tha Tiger are shown on afternoon slot. And chak de India regularly bewteen 8:30-11:30 am. Gunday was shown on Wah this sunday at 9:15 am. Dhoom and dhoom 2 shown on morning 8-9 am slot and dhoom 3 is afternoon slot. Yes but I agree with u they should shown more consistently in day slots

Did anyone notice that now star gold and star gold 2 are airing super hit/blockbuster movies in the 12-1 AM slot like today at 12:45 AM they are going to air prem ratan dhan payo and tomorrow at 1 AM they are going to air chhichhore on star gold and they are going to air luka chuppi on 12:45 AM on star gold 2 today. So this is also a good step because nowadays due to lockdown there are many people who watch tv till late night(like me) and this is also one of the reasons why star gold is always in the top 5 in trp
Bro luka chupi and chichore is a repeatedly playing on star channels check last week time slots...

Bro star has many Bollywood movies big producers and big productions but star is not doing justice to none of them just because of this dharma production shifted to Viacom from star and next sajid nadiadwala is planning to deal with sony..

In last 3 years star sold their around 20 to 25 movies to Sony zee and viacom most of the hits purchased by zee like wanted golmal fun unlimited houseful ra one veer etc etc..

Star is one of the good networks in India. They are one of the most topical networks, who know to use recent films to the core. Any recent film on Star will get aired multiple times in a month. They also have best PQ and AQ after Sun and Sony. The network to has a sizeable and a good number of dubbed content as well. But what makes the network really lose is it's ability to handle some movies (not all). While some movies like the Ajay Devgan ones, Chhichhore etc have been winners but the issue with the network is it's damn inability to decide which is prime time and which is not.
You will see Luka Chuppi airing as a prime time night movie on Star Gold
The next day it will air on a random Afternoon slot in Star Gold 2
Then again you will watch it on Star Gold on a morning slot
Like this is the major issue with only a selected number of films.
They also know too telecast movies in prime time eg War , Housefull 4
They also telecast some movies in the wee/morning hours only eg Badhaai Ho
Sony and Zee clearly draw the line of which film is suitable for prime time airing and which is not.
But Star doesn't do that. That's one of the problems with the network. Also during the lockdown period, people have understood the vulnerability of Star and how it's format of airing movies repeatedly doesn't work

Bro have u noticed star channels airs singham movies and baaghi 2 in prime time only.... I hope yrf should get back to Sony asap coz their is less chance of airing yrf movies in star channels war 3 times mardaani 2 only once... panga chhapak love aaj kal mardaani 2 wtp fully disappointment... star should figure out their mistake they should think which movie should be air on particular time slot.

Bro all production house making money and after selling satellite rights Producer don't have rights to say Prime Time only movies airing to TV channels
It's TV channels strategy and YRF moved to Star because Sony movie Acquisition offer was less compare to star and Zee
Also TV channels don't have Such a agreement with production houses like movie airing prime time , Weekly or monthly once only
