Yrf moved to star because star was having lots of money as star is in partnership with Fox and Disney. (fox +star +Disney)

Bro all production house making money and after selling satellite rights Producer don't have rights to say Prime Time only movies airing to TV channels
It's TV channels strategy and YRF moved to Star because Sony movie Acquisition offer was less compare to star and Zee
Also TV channels don't have Such a agreement with production houses like movie airing prime time , Weekly or monthly once only
But anytime airings can reduce the viability of the film. There are masterpieces like Andhadhun which air at 5 am (god awful time). Films like Stree (somedays on Prime time, somedays at 5am) and all. Sony clearly knows when to air Bollywood films. Most of the time they air South Stuff (Except Night) on unimportant times like 10am and 6pm.
Goldmines changed the TV Rights market by shifting all their films from Zee to other networks.
Wah's One Day Bollywood, One Day South Plan works well.
Max 2 is doing an awesome job.
Although we all criticize Sony for their South policy and leading them to losing banners.
It's clever way and responsiveness (ah compared to other networks it listens to people). Sony is friendly with everyone in Bollywood and this may lead to some good partnerships in the near future

According to me
Sony is winner 🥇 in showing movies
Not matters which ones bollywood or dubbed ones
The movies which they show r purely entertainer, not a single movie is boring
Picture quality is superb compared to other movies channels
2nd is zee
3rd is star

Yes they are even good airtime to the production houses they are having in bollywood. Like T SERIES, VVC films, vishesh films list, Yrf films pre 2019etc. Currently they are showin(specially sony max hd) :
50%South movies
40%bollywood
10%Hollywood (agreeing with @JollyLNB bro as he told this earlier)
And even the number of bollywood movies increases specially on Saturday, Sundays and many times even in Fridays as well
