Often the channel partner can be a music channel like Zoom. Zoom cannot show movies.

For instance, Sanju's satellite partners are Star Gold and Plus, but the channel partners were shown as a number of Zee news channels. Hope this clarifies.
 
I was just having a question regarding the Satellite rights of YRF Films and Sony Network because the latest film WAR movies teaser was Displayed on Star Networks channel rather than Sony networks channel whereas in most of the cases the the teaser or trailer are aired first time on Tv by the network who have taken the Satellite Rights, So is this mean the Contract between YRF and Sony is Over?

Maybe its because of hrithik....in 2016 hrithik signed 550 cr deal with star for his next 6 films & war is one of them

Then how come Salman, a much bigger star, could not get Sultan to air on Star? That would also have been part of his deal.

Since this didn't happen, your assumption is unlikely.

But Yash Raj Films sultan , Ek tha tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai movie Teaser , Trailer only Telecasted exclusively on Sony Network
Bro looks like War movie with Star India
After Thugs of Hindostan movie everything is not good with Sony and Yash Raj films
