Also other older movies which r part of SRK deal have not made entry on Zee hence it can be well assumed that telecast of Swades is not linked with that agreement. Mostly such agreements come into effect from a particular date and not in bits or pieces

Off topic : Why are broadcasters taking least effort of introducing new channels on new platform? Don't ratings matter? Most won't be able to watch Swades on Independence Day.

In past few months i have already discussed and explained reasons for this in various threads.
To summarize, previously broadcasters had advance fix deals with operators wherein operators gave big sums of money to buy bouquet for a long term period. Broadcasters got enough money while operators got discounts on prices thus giving sense of comfort / security to both. Any new channels launched in interim were added either by broadcasters paying carriage or operator willing to pay some more amount to make it part of current deal. Also at many instances new channels got added on deal renewal time (tata-sony, tata-discovery, tata-indiacast etc.).

Now all things r happening on real time basis, what consumer opts is how revenues r shared on periodic/monthly basis between operators and broadcasters. Broadcasters are not willing to shed out carriage unnecessarily bcoz the guarantee of advance returns is gone while operators still wait for it hence causing delays in addition. Zee or other broadcasters try to raise awareness among viewers to demand for channels so that operators renew RIO and add concerned channels. So basically this alongwith other factors r weighed while making decision. Anyways delay can happen but addition cannot be skipped as ultimately it has to be done during agreement renewal time.

The reason why Goldmines has a good relationship with Sony is not because of dubbed content but due to Aamdhani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiyawhose rights are with Goldmines and other Govinda movies which used to air on Max regularly. Movies like Rajaji (which is with UTV) we're once on Max. Now since Govinda movies like Kyu Ki Main Jhooth Nahi Bolta, Hadh Kar Di Aapne and Aamdhani Atthani Kharcha rupaiya fetch a sizeable viewership and are the options after Sooryavansham Max is trying to buy old Govinda movies eg Akhiyon Se Goli Maare (UTV) Chhote Sarkar (Star) nowadays
