Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

I respect your views but I think its too early too predict that all YRF Movies satellite Rights are with star as YRF-Sony relation has been through many years and there has been no transfer of Movies from Sony to Star

It is my (strong) belief that only YRF movies from War and Mardaani 2 onwards are with Star. Everything until Thugs of Hindostan stays with Sony. It is highly unlikely they will show Band Baajaa Baaraat/Dum Laga Ke Haisha given the current situation at Sony Max. However, I wished the entire library would go to Star, as movies like these two would be a brilliant addition to Star Gold Select.

Many of these movies original premiere networks are different eg Garv premiered on Sony or Mujhse Shaadi karogi on Zee etc

Almost all of these excluding YRF and Vinod chopra films are syndicated

Pen Network They've a movie channel Bflix Movies will they show on it or sold to any other broadcasters

Zee is their preferred network

Kids movies like Tare Zameen Paar, Stanley ka Dabba, Chankuli ki Mankul etc. always stays on one network.

That is not the case always Hari Puttar , Bal Ganesh,premiered on Star but now airing on Sony
