Hrithik has a deal with Star they did the same for Sultan too where Salman actually tried to convince Aditya Chopra to sell the rights to Star and i also felt that Sultan will go to Star but that didn't happen

YRF is actually not in a position to choose. Sony actually makes huge money out of YRF films. TOH also is telecasted regularly on Max because the price at which the rights were sold are not recovered yet. YRF movies get due on Sony but this experiment can be a success or a failure as well.

Highest rated movies of this week are Kesari and Baahubali 2 which are on Zee and Sony. Sultan and TZH achieve sizeable viewership on Prime Time. But YRF and Sony will be involved in some or the other initiatives. YRF faced a similar slump after Tashan flop (The same guy who directed TOH btw) If Band Baaja Baaraat would not had become a hit then YRF was dead at that time itself. History is repeating itself.
