Fun fact: Sooryavansham and Aamdhani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya are produced by the same producer G. Adisheshagiri Rao under Padmalaya Telefilms which is owned by Mahesh Babu's father Krishna

TOH also is telecasted regularly on Max because the price at which the rights were sold are not recovered yet.
YRF faced a similar slump after Tashan flop (The same guy who directed TOH btw) If Band Baaja Baaraat would not had become a hit then YRF was dead at that time itself. History is repeating itself.
Ironically one of the biggest flops in Bollywood in recent years, one that has led to such bad blood between Sony and YRF, grossed ₹350 crore at the box office and is one of the 25 highest-grossing Hindi movies. :rofl2:

Note: Besides the flop TOH and Tashan, Vijay Krishna Acharya directed the all-time blockbuster Dhoom 3 as well. Don't judge him.

This has been a pattern for Tashan as well. It was also telecasted regularly after its dismal performance and that's why they gave Lafangey parindey to colors. The colors telecast for Lafangey parindey was also dismal since that was also a flop. That's why YRF continued with Sony for its upcoming films. If suppose War recieves ratings which are not upto the mark according to YRF standards or if the film bombs then Sony will again stand a chance to renew their partnership.

The first scenario is most likely to happen because Star has a reputation of telecasting films regularly till they dont recover the money for satellite rights.
