All videocon D2H product have smart card is there those boxes which have bulk remote
those box have smart card slot at back side and recent boxes those are small in size and
remote is slim and reset butten is at the back side have also sim but it is inside the stb
and small in size like mobile sim, these boxes have one draback is if get E06-4 insert smartcard
frequently dis mental the box to set the sim .

I have the normal SD STB. The new one. This doesn't has any smart card slot.

It must be back side........if not inside the box than in sim card size

I have the new small STB.
Maybe it will not give that error! They must have taken proper care for it. Otherwise it would be a big trouble.

u can find Your Card Number in Stb>Menu>Cas Or Smart Card...mostly All Dth box have Sticker with stb id and Card number....

I am installation engineer recently i have installed more then 70 with in one month
and near about 5 STB have E06-4 insert smart problem after few days of instalation
and the customer have minimum skill to set sim by opening the box otherwise they have to
call the technician .

D2H has made sim inside STBs to stop piracy and i don't think it will show insert smart card problem.

Don't do this yourself, call engineer who is official. Opening may void warentty.
