Scv analogue subscription increased

Discovery tamil again added after ktv. ten sports as the last channel.

Your LCO giving these two channels. Me too not getting this

Rs.140 is too much for it..
SCV can stop analog either..

SCV won't stop analog, as they fear arasu analog will take over chennai cable.
We should change from SCV analog to DTH or SCV STB . No other way

My LCO not yet told anything to me.
140 is too much high for the channels we are getting.

My LCO told me and from this month he is charging rs.140.

My LCO yet to told anything to me. My LCO increased 100 to 120 from this year begining january. So it is not fair to again increase the subscription. If it increase i will go to DTH than this analogue

Rs.140 for few pay channels (out of 50 Channels) is a huge cheat by SCV..
Silently, SCV would be getting more revenue in analog than digital service..

SCV getting lot of revenue from Analog users. There are few users only using SCV STB. Most of them opting out DTH rather than SCV STB.

SCV should have some more channels in analog and raise the subscription to 150rs.
(2 sports channels, 2 movies channels etc)

My LCO came yes'day and collected the subscription. He didn't mention anything about subscription hike.
So some LCOs only increased the subscription and it is not from SCV.

No such update from my LCO's end. But for the current list of channels Rs 140 is way too much.

SCV DAS basic pack [Rs 135 + tax ] : 7 international channels + 38 Tamil channels + 4 Eng News + 90 other channels. [136 Channels]

SCV Analogue [Rs 120]: 0 Sports + 0 International Channels + 29 Tamil channels + 2 Eng News + 1 Telugu + 3 Relegious channels + 3 Eng Movie Channels + 29 Blank Viewable Slots. [35 Channels with max 3 - 5 Pay channels worth Rs 25 and remaining all FTA].

With just 3 - 5 Pay channels with max worth Rs 25, why would they want to do a steep hike in subscription fee and which common man would accept it?

So instead SCV or the LCO may just fill the blank slots with some useful channels like Taj pack 1 & 2, Discovery pack 1&2 plus Ten pack (WB+ CNN + HBO + Cartoon Network + Pogo + All discovery & Animal Planet + Ten Pack excluding Ten golf) and increase the subscription to Rs 150 (All these packs are just Rs 50 as per SCV Add-On) the it would be highly useful for the people as SCV Analogue seems permanent one for Chennai people atleast until the election in 2016.

Also if SCV can offer these channels in Analogue at Rs 150 the mass analogue subscribers would be ready to Pay DAS fee without much complains when DAS is implemented at a later stage.

[Now someone please dont suggest STB as most Chennai people wont get an STB unless atleast something becomes clear with MSO]

It's illegal showing pay channels in chennai metro area without STB. hence no mso showing pay channels. Arasu analogue also don't have any pay channels.
