SCV new package now on their website

Hi all,

Many new channels added t0 scv on STB yesterday... rajmusic, raj news, imayam, comedy central, cbs prime a lots of telugu channels added ...but are all are scrambled.. SCV has changed the packages.. all tamil channel with sports is coming 133RS + tax which comes around 150 Per month. Not sure if this is final or they will still change.

whether puthiya thalaimurai is there in the list?

also, is there any channels like peppers, moon tv there in the list? these channels are not listed anywhere in their website. but i have seen them in a list pasted in my LCO iffuce. it was two weeks before. i am not sure about the current situation.. could you please check and confirm..

So SCV is here to stay permanently on DAS as a monopoly, no other MSO seem to be on the race, at-least not active till now in real and not only on news.

yes... it looks like as of now SCV is going to rule chennai with their own rates for their channels

Ok, but if they can give all english movies, Info / Lifestyle channels, tamil and sports at Rs 200 (including tax) would be much affordable.

it would be sme wat better if tamil basic pack=133.50+tax nd tamil gold=195+tax cms down...

Yes, a basic package for 100 Rs similar to the earlier free channel package would be better.

And if gold can be brought down atleast to 150 removing non tamil channels would be great, or if they can remove the hindi, telugu, kannada, malayalam from diamond and reducing the cost lesser than 200 (including tax) would be better.

Why to pay for 79 channels that tamil people dont see? they can also make similar package for non tamil people.

The present package is a big waste of money.

i called SCV directly and asked why PT is stopped. They said PT is having issues in their transmission. I told them that it is available in other DTH. He said the same and said it will be available soon.

But my LCO said it is because PT is against SCV. He also said it will be available soon.

As per my LCO SCV is still in confussion of package and pricing.
