Star is focusing more on cricket and Indian leagues. Apart from IPL, they also have ISL, PKL, PBL.

For Olympics, Till last one, Star had that rights.

But, for Tennis, currently Star has three grandslam broadcast rights, Sony has only AO.

I never said sony is in loss because star bought ipl in fact sony is in profit after ipl bought by star .....i said star will get ipl even after 2022 because sony already spent so much to buy stakes in viacom18/neywork18 so its obivious star will buy ipl in 2023 also

Viacom18 brand identity might remain as it is, just sony likely to b added in front of it. Remember if a company acquires a majority stake or does complete takeover then still they can continue sticking with separate names for its companies. Also here sony just had 38% share
