Neither this partnership has been officially announced or denied though seeing changes which have happened in last 5 or 6 months i still feel this will materialise... May b OTT will b kept separate. Why would sony take big risks like shutting axn or sony mix if things were unsure.

Also about this article, maybe these r just speculations or some intentional rumors being spread so that competitors r not kept in loop and do not prepare big plans to counter them. Could b a strategy to take every1 by surprise
