Good News Sony retains England Cricket Media Rights for Indian subcontinent for the next 6 years

It's a 6 year deal till 2028.

The Hundred media rights is NOT included in Sony's Media Rights deal. Only Vitality Blast is included in the deal.
The official article from SPN says "Apart from the international cricket, Sony Sports also has the rights to telecast county competitions that include LV=Insurance County Championship, Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup. The Vitality Blast is Twenty20 cricket league played in England and Wales and the Royal London Cup is a fifty-over limited overs cricket competition for the England and Wales first class counties."

Sony should have taken it.
Sooner or latter T20 will be replaced by Hundred.

Even Sony not showing County Championship, Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup even though have the rights.
If it is star, at least they could show it in SS first channel as it doesn't have much content.
