Should have been TV18 Sports at least. N18 may be misconstrued as News18. No one has ever heard of the N18 brand. When you already have established brands like Colors and TV18, why bother to launch a new N18 brand?

First thought came in my mind was News18 before Network18. N18 Sports sounds extremely odd. They need to be careful with brands. Confusing names are not good for any brand. Just look at CBeebies or Eurosport in India. If they were named BBC Kids and Discovery Sports. Both would've been much popular among casual viewers. Even ETV Bal Bharat can be taken as an example.
