Did not expect this sudden revamp!!
Star Maa was the only Star's regional channel which did not have its name in its regional language.
Finally the change has happened.
The logo really looks good!

May be they want to move away from branding they don't completely own. Still Nimmagadda, Nagarjuna and Co owns MAA TV: The company. Star only acquired broadcasting business, they haven't acquired company itself. May be they don't want another Asianet like situation where 3 companies having same/similar logo.

Ps: idk if the non compete agreement gonna end soon. Just speculating.

Much needed. Star Maa had one of the least consistent graphics packages of the Star network regional channels and this is an excellent update to bring them in line with the Hindi and Bengali channels, which have a much better and consistent execution. Borrowing the logo from Star Plus is useful as well.

As @Sushruth.V.H. bro said, this was truly unexpected.
