DDF Exclusive "Star Sports 1 Kannada" Launching From 16 November (Replacing Channel V)

Star MAA Gold may be converted into Star Sports 1 Telugu... I don't think Star Sports not launched another sports channel in tamil, but why did they put Star Sports 1 Tamil?

So Sehwag will be doing Hindi Commentary, Dravid will be doing Kannada Commentary. Hope they launch Bengali and Telugu also, so that we will get to hear Ganguly and VVS

Star maa gold imo has good viewership. It gives rerun of old serials and movies.
Star should decide.because star sports telugu wont get much viewership,i feel

@shawl_who imagine if MTV shut down. (Both are similar channels. Though Channel V was airing more music than MTV and did not have Roadies/Splitsvilla/INTM type of shows, it did have youth shows in the last 3-4 months.)

Launching of more Star Sports regional channels is not a problem because there are many regional-specific programmes by experts in various sports other than cricket/kabaddi. But why Kannada? Why not Telugu? (Or Malayalam/Bangla for the large football following in those states?)

I don't think the people who can not afford this would go for a-la-karte paying 60 rupees for it. This would be a 'Kannada' channel which would likely be included in the Kannada packages for the ease of the customers.

No it's like Star Sports Tamil its under Sports pack, we have to pay 60 rupees per month & it's complete high demand pay channel...

So, don't subscribe to it; as simple as that. Star is not dictating anybody to watch its channels right?

Yes I'm not subscribed that channel only during matches we activated & after match complete I removed from package...
