In issuing they given a public notice 1 year before about SS1 Kannada launch also but it was not launched due to not got mib nod.

I guess, Star also don't want to cease Channel V. They should reboost it & make it pure FTA 24×7 bollywood music channel. Then people will definitely accept it as like earlier.
