Breaking Sun TV plans to convert Sun Life as second Tamil GEC from 7th October

No channel will be hit without serials or cine content in TN. This may be applicable to all channels in TN. Zee Tamil hits the TRB after all day serials in prime time.(mainly semparuthi serial). All should note KTV doesn't have any programs but it continuesly in Top 4 because of movie content.

first u said problem with kalaignar and maran family for three years.its wrong info.They joined within 6 months. Dmk in power raja in power as i.t minister when the families joined again.this is what i said.

Is that wrong? Every channel followed that strategy of asking questions in between some programs. (Even during DD 5 days).

So u means dd and sun are same.new channels using this strategy is ok but trp king using it?

Being in central power will help only to get license may be. But , not for the TRP.

No need to teach Politics , especially TN politics. I follow politics from early 90s.

Sun tv didn't allow star or zee or sony to start channel in south in early days.we all knew how monopoly.They have scv as multi system operator and threatened all cable operators to get signal from them only.They were in power they can grant channels for them and block channels of other independent channels.They did that.jaya tv applied for 2 channels they got the license after 2 yrs only.where as sun tv can instantly start channel and promote.we all knew what happened to rival raj tv.These guys didn't allow any news channels in tamil for long time.After starting puthiya thalaimurai and thanthi tv and polimer news where they gone now.pls ask anyone else during 90s what they did.they will explain

Everyone knows how they suppress the competitors. I agree to your points. My stand is that Sun life will be successful. They'll use their marketing strategies. I'm not saying that Sun didn't do any Monopoly. They're known for it and still you can see in Sun Direct and Scv.

He believed Zee would not object because it would be recovering some of its rentals, but for some reason, Zee did not agree. So, Maran worked out a deal with ATN and went on to launch Sun TV.

This doesn't mean Sun is a Saint. They are dirty as always. As you sow as you reap. Many TV channels and many movies suffered because of Sun. Not just movies and tvs. Many more. Sun is not clean. They're dirty. Dirty!!!

We have to leave it to the past now that era ended now we have lots of options even in the future if DMK come back to power there won't be Sun Monopoly anymore SCV & Sun DTH not going to be the only platforms to watch TV and this is an era of OTT platforms anyone who have talent can go international with even YouTube.
