No. Clarity is still nowhere near Sun TV HD. May be star vijay will improve in future. but for now Sun TV clarity is far better than Vijay TV

Sun TV HD and Asianet HD are 85 %/ per channel
KTV HD and Gemini HD are 75 % /per channel

i still feel sun tv pq and aq is greater than vijay tv
sun tv hd has huge content of 5.1 songs and movies. and it's very difficult to beat sun tv in nearer days.
for serials and reality shows, i don't know which is better.
how much great pq may be given by vijay hd, it's logo is so dull that it fails the whole quality to experience.

so, for now, my thumbs up for sun tv hd. and best of luck for vijay tv hd.

Vijay HD will slowly telecast all the content in HD in near feature similar to Sun tv

As I told before the launching itself Vijay Tv HD will be much better than KTV HD, among sun's three HD channel ktv HD is worst mostly telecasting old movies in Standard definition.

Guys Star Vijay pq is better than Sun but not as good as other star network and colors regional channels....

In Star, Asianet :hd is best among regional :hd channels

for audio quality, i agree with u bro.. sun tv hd is much better than vijay tv hd and many more hd channels
* it's only sun tv hd , telecasted live concert in dolby 5.1
* and i've seen sun singer it also comes dolby 5.1
