I found a temporary fix by enabling hdmi cec volume control..now I can control my tv volume and mute by using binge+ remote in normal mode too ( non pairing mode)

The update looks too good my box stopped receiving signals here we are in the second half of summer

working now.. after performing factory reset

Power off & on also gets signal, favourites retained

It's panna box which was launched much early in ,2017-18 I think..so obviously no warranty naa
