Tata Sky HD or Airtel HD? Need advice

Bro go with airtel it has best HD picture quality and both malayalam HD channels all sports HD channels and has best recording features

Thanks for the inputs, but did anyone encounter first hand experience with regard to rains? i.e. Airtel Vs TS?

Aa far my experience goes tatasky worked better during rains than airtel (in north).

Go for TATA(Sky. Good PQ, AQ, CC treating us very friendly, More Offers are there(especially Saturday Jingalala offer), signal quality also good

Yes, I used Airtel and DishTV before along with TS. There wasn't much difference during heavy rain. Dish went first. Then Airtel and TS signals stopped more or less at the same time. Signal loss during rain is a problem with KU band DTH technology. It happens everywhere in the world.

I suggest u ts. U will get maximum hd channels nd good sd channels,awesome pq and aq quality.nd also there are high possibilities for many more hd, sd, channels, addition in ts as they are using additionally gsat10 for more additions

Any obstacle between LNB and the dish disturbs signals like dust gathered on the face of LNB or rain water flowing over it. Sometimes rain water enters LNB causing signal distortion. I've cut a water bottle and fitted it on the LNB taking care not to cover the face,so that rain water doesn't enter

Best Option ADTV, also cheap. RS 99 Pack + Compulsory add on max RS 40 + all HD RS 204 = RS 350 approx.
