from today they have started change all mpeg2 box in south region. from 25th july one by one tamil channel will be mpeg4.then aug more tamil channek will add. cc told me.

Dear team,

Pls make a note

• We are moving 38 channels (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam) currently in MPEG 2 format to MPEG 4.

• Since your box is MPEG 2, you will not soon not be able to view these channels.

• Tata Sky is offering to replace old MPEG 2 box with swap MPEG 4 box free of cost (without any charge).

• Ask permission and schedule the WO

• Inform that old box has to be returned mandatorily*.

Subscriber refuses MPEG 4 offer

Anyone from tamilnadu with mpeg2? Can confirm that they receive msg or not about mpeg4.
