My source Area Sales Manager from Madurai called me yesterday night. He conveyed me that they he is handling a total of 9 districts in south Tamil Nadu from MAdurai to Kanyakumari...he added that they have to change 9500 mpeg 2 boxes to mpeg on or before 30th september...they have received 450 boxes 2 before before and yesterday they have changed swapped 75 boxes...
Well he said the same which he had told me earlier...that very soon they would migrate polimer and adithya tamil channels will be moved to MPEG 4 transmission and they will add Zee Tamil may be with Discovery tamil and Captain TV.
Yesterday he told me that TS will move all the malayalam channels to MPEG 4 shortly...
Tamil Channels won't be available on MPEG2 boxes after 25th July 2013
As per customer care tamil channels won't be available after 25th July 2013 on MPEG2 boxes. Customer needs to SMS Y on 56633 for free replacement of MPEG4 box.

yes after 31 july all the tamil channels r going to fully migrated to mpeg4 and mpeg2 stb customers will not be able to watch tamil channels so upgrade soon to mpeg4 stb at free of cost call the CC now those who till now not upgraded

so lots of space available after 31 july, after all tamil channels migrated to MPEG4.I think they will get space for minimum of 10 to 15 channels after tamil channel migration
