I dont think they will be migrating all the tamil channels..rather they would first migrate 2 - 3 channels first and add 1 or 2 tamil channels..then TS would ask the tamil subscribers to swap their MPEG 2 STBs...i guess this will take 2- 3 months to change the STbs of tamil customers...

If they move 21 channel to MPEG , it will create space for nearly 15 channel

Spoke to the CC they are telling that all the tamil channels will be available only in Mpeg 4 boxes from 25th July...

Yes. Mr. ajuravi is correct. Just CC confirmed. From 25th July all tamil channels plays in MPEG4 Technology. So Tamil viewers go and replace your Old MPEG2 box to MPEG4. For new box they are giving 1 month warranty also. It is completely free of cost. But soon TATASKY Channel pricing may increase... Just my guess...!
