no need to pay for warrenty as its already new. So chances to be fault is very very less if we take proper care, if you can pay then its good for save visit charge.

bro i was using the old Thomson SD box for 6+ years without a single hardware problem.... i hope the same with this box :sp

I am having the same ts+ stb, no issues till now. But the channel changing problem exsist on mpeg4 channels. Hope they will replace the stb or fix it through software update.

Here I am sharing an interesting piece of information. The guy i.e. the installer who came to fix up my new Tata Sky HD connection informed me that they are shifting from MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 with the soul aim of increasing its channel count. West Bengal will be definitely given more importance. I asked him about Zee Bangla Cinema and the guy told me that TS is looking up to this but right at this moment they will solely concentrate on giving good service to its customer.
 
They have no other option to add more channels without moving to MPEG-4 unlike Dish TV which have 3 satellites to add new channels for its customer. :ohya
