testing started now. Is any one facing no signal in some channel ie in tamil and star sports channel

TataSky is migrating to 105.5°E AsiaSat 7 & 8 They are hired 24 TPs 16TPs from one sat. and 8 TPs from Another Sat.

From day one i was sure this is just a fake news because TS don't have that much money to invest on foreign satellite

TS even don't have money to pay to broadcasters to add more HD channels and making lame excuses and promises since last many months

a7 and a8 are new satellite. Gsat 10 is also a new satellite. Either cases, they are moving from old satellite to new satellite. What is the difference?

Foreign satellite or local satellite. It is a new satellite and this activity is called migration from one satellite to another satellite. There is no definition saying moving to foreign satellite is called migration and moving to local satellite is called shifting :wall

Migration means moving to a new location all together like a7 & a8 , the current activity is shifting to a new sat in the same location.

Eg: One migrates to another country.
One shifts to a new house in the same location.

You will always say I shifted to x or y city

If you move countries you will say I am migrating to x or y country

migration is used from one place to another while TS was on 83 and stil on same position more appropriate word is shifting not migrating
