How much do u thing was lured and retain with just news of new satellite?

I think not even 0.001% customer is retained,

Ts customer are retained due to service quality and not with BIG name of satellite.

If u said agreement not done, then how can as 7 is listed in 4k stb.

Company can't use even name without paying single money .

Its correct that we all know it was gsat10 which was available for ts from last 3 years, so why not used??

Insat life is still 1.5 years, and migration/shifting done in just 1 month .

Then why u said insat dying thus migrated to gsat.

I think it is wrong to blame tata sky for not using gsat10 transponders before. As tata sky had requested isro for additional capacity along with insat4a transponders. But first they launched gsat very late and then they asked tata sky to use gsat10 and abandon insat4a( which was facing power issues). So the net result would have been that tata sky would have left with same capacity of 12 transponders of same capacity as of insat4a. So it was like an exchange offer which was offered to tata sky. So they refused and moved to mpeg4.
Now as it appears that tata sky will be using gsat10 and leaving insat4a( not sure when) ,it will be interesting to see what next? Will they continue to use gsat10 and ask for new satellite from isro at same 83 degree position OR it is just a stop gap till they fully migrate to mpeg4 tech and then move to asiasat 7&8 as it is being discussed for quite long. And as far as channel addition is concern then we should be clear that not many channels can be added till they convert to mpeg4 fully( if they are planning to use gsat10 only).

Ok dear as per your version we dont blame TS for this but did TS took Mpeg4 Migration seriously ??? If they intend to meet customers satisfaction they should have !!! Where there is a will there is a way ....

I think not even 0.001% customer is retained,

and this much % of people may be influential on 10 Million people e.g like i am in Pakistan and like me 10 to 20 people are communicating to 90% of DTH population of Pakistan and think about it how many users will be conveying/Convincing to customers by these rumours TS doing this & that

Its called media war and control.

How u can say they are best in CS TS is the worst DTH to respect & meet customer expectations in respect of adding channels

Dear All satellite receivers have satellite in STB and this is not a big deal and on fair note o don't have seen that if u can post screen shots of it

Few satellites die before their expected life so we cant say that its still alive or will be alive for 1.5 years anything can happen we not sure about that

I agree. Because tata sky kept waiting for the things to happen. As they asked for new satellite in 2007 and it was launched in 2012. They simply wasted 5 years. They should have saw it coming. And in those 5 years they started facing power problems in insat4a. So what started as capacity addition in the form of gsat10, start becoming the retaining of existing capacity. Then they started mpeg4 migration. And after investing over 1 year in migration suddenly they started going slow. Don't know why? Then this all satellite migration SAGA.
In ideal situation they should have completed mpeg4 migration and then they should have moved to other sat. Now at present they are at same point as far as capacity is concern.
There is a lot of JHINGALALA in tata sky

Two days more jhingalala no signal
DO mast 90degree / dish peaking and then skew angle accuracy Only if you check and ensure all these 3 no signal issue will get resolved.

In the next testing they will convert all gsat10 tps to mpeg4-dvbs2 &add channels in it
