Review : Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju – Feel Good Love Story

Young hero Sharwanand, has been associated with some meaningful films in the past. After the huge success of Run Raja Run, he is now back with a romantic entertainer, Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju, which also stars the super talented Nithya Menen. Directed by Kranthi Madhav, this film has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it is.
Story:-
Raja Ram(Sharwananad) is an aspiring young athlete who lives with his single mother. During one of his sporting events, he comes across a burkha clad Muslim girl named Nazeera(Nithya Menen) and falls head over heels for her eyes. He chases her and eventually the couple fall in love with each other.
Twist in the tale arises when shocking incidents occur in both their lives and the couple get separated. What is that incident ? How did it change their life ? Will they ever meet each other again ? To know the answers to these questions, you need to watch the film on the big screen.
Plus Points:-
Story of the film is quite novel and deals with life after break ups. The way a mature relationship has been showcased is really wonderful. Sharwanand once again proves that he is an excellent actor. He is superb and dominates the entire first half with his endearing performance. The way he has carried out subtle emotions during the second half is amazing. He is spectacular in all the scenes involving his mother and has showcased immense maturity.
Nithya Menen walks away with the cake in this film. She had a lot of scope to showcase her talent in this film and has nailed it completely. Be it her performance as a college girl in the first half or as the emotional mother in the second, Nithya has balanced her act wonderfully. All the romantic scenes featuring Nithya and Sharwanand have been executed superbly. Chemistry between them is mind blowing and is the major attraction for the film.
While the first half is quite romantic and entertaining, the second half is emotional and moving. The actress who did Sharwanand’s mother’s role was also quite effective.
Dialogues of the film are meaningful and will connect with the audience effectively. Tejaswi does a wonderful job in her supporting role.

Shankar’s ‘I’ creates a sensational record
Just as the film entered its 25th day, Shankar’s much hyped visual wonder ‘I’ has created an astonishing record.
The film’s Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions amassed a whopping 200 crore gross and are inching towards beating Robo’s record. Prior to ‘I’, Shankar-Rajini’s ‘Robo’ was the only south Indian film that reached the 200 crore mark.
Released amidst heavy expectations, the Telugu and Hindi versions of I’ failed to set the box office ablaze. However, the film’s Tamil version minted gold thanks to the festive season and a huge craze for Shankar-Vikram combination. The film is still going steady, sustaining Ajith’s ‘Yennai Arindhaal’ storm. Well, it’s only a matter of few days before ‘I’ emerges as the highest grossing south Indian film, beating ‘Robo’.

→ Rudramma Devi’s trailer for Maha Shivaraatri
The big budget flick, Rudramma Devi has completed its shoot and is busy in its post production activities. According to the latest update, the makers have decided to release the trailer of their film on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaraatri.
Rudrama Devi is the first ever Indian historic film to be made in 3D. Some big names like Allu Arjun and Rana Daggubati are also involved in this project which has music by Ilayaraja. Gunasekhar himself produces this film on his own banner Guna Team Works.

→ Temper Censor scheduled for tomorrow
Young Tiger NTR’s Temper is all set for a massive release on February 13th, and the post production works are going on in full swing. Latest update is that the film’s Censor formalities have been scheduled for tomorrow, Feb 10th. Initially, the film was supposed to undergo Censor today, but a slot wasn’t available .
NTR has already completed his part of the dubbing for this flick. Vakkanntam Vamsi provided the story for this film which has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. Anup Rubens scored music and Bandla Ganesh is the producer.
