Now let us see How long will all the DTH implement new rules starting 1st March 2020 and update their packages and add new channels on their platforms. From last 1 year only Airtel was quick in updating the broadcaster bouquets but not their self care and Customer Care.

Does this mean channels like Star Sports, SET HD, Colors HD, etc (which are ₹19) won't be allowed in any broadcaster bouquets?
Is ₹12 including taxes or excluding taxes?
This should bring down the bouquet rates.. right?

e.g: Star Bouquet 1: only STAR GEC & Movies. Bouquet 2: only Sports. etc.

Bouquet/Standalone price rules r great, they neither allow inflating individual channel rate or keeping price of 1 channel extremely low or other extremely high when forming part of bouquet. Now on affordable rates will come into affect for all sorts of chs, chances r that some channels will turn FTA again

Broadcasters can make "Hindi Movies, Hindi Entertainment and Kids in one pack along with infotainment"

Now broadcasters will have to do homework for making economical packages.

Sony packages was available economical n well balanced . Only BBC Earth was missing from lower packages. Hope now they'll include BBC Earth also .
