I completely agree. Plus TRAI should also force DD Sports to acquire important sporting important like World Cup and Olympics as the private channels are no longer affordable for common people. Why shall people miss out important events?

In a Star value pack @₹49, SS1Hindi/Regional, SS2, SS3, SS First are available, moreover, SPSN sports channels are available for ₹39, how come are these costlier than current rates?

Currently I'm on Dish TV non stop pack ₹35/month appx + Popular HD ₹69 + All sports HD pack ₹99. I think it's much cheaper than new tarrif.

Cuz I get all the channels for 250 bucks a month so it's costlier for me.

What about the fix income of people which depend upon this type of revenue to run their livelihood

Day by day new channels opening. Moreover, it's unfair to us as well to pay for a channel which doesn't deserve the money

just did the math. 54 channels are going to cost me ₹568(incl.tax).

I get all channels on dish tv(except mn+, star movies select, prive) for ₹550.

i don't know about January but as per the information available right now on TRAI's website, 54 channels WILL cost me ₹568. My calculator isn't wrong. Frustrating, so frustrating

26 DD channels + 74 SD channels = 100
26 DD channels + 44 SD channels + 15 HD channels = 100 channels
1 HD channel is equivalent to 2 SD channels. So, if you take 70 SD (including DD channels) channels then 15 HD channels can be taken in place of 30 SD channels.

In Sun Direct DD Channels are 26 compared to others where it is 25 as Sun Direct having an exclusive Bengali Channel DD Agartala.
