Prices of some channels is wrong HBO costs only ₹10,WB - ₹1 . Also according to TRAI we can select the pay channels using the slots of 100 FTA channels to avoid the NCF charge seems like these guys looting the customers

The whole purpose of this exercise is such a waste when the intention is to give people the channels they want but you are forcing 100 free channels for 130 rupees compulsorily.

Instead they could have put a minimum monthly amount and people can pick whatever channels they want. Say 150 per month minimum. With that 150 people can purchase whatever they want instead of having the free channels.

Of the 100 channels, 25 reserved by DD, for the rest 75, we can choose any FTA, any Pay via bouquets and/or a-la-carte or a combination of both FTA and Pay, just that if we choose pay channels, we need to pay respective subscription charges alongwith NCF

So suppose Sony is 50 rupees and Star is 80 rupees....for 130 the interested folks could be choosing these bouquets instead of now having 100 channels which most might not want. Ot atleast, a-la-carte channels for that 130.

Rs. 130 is the network capacity fee (NCF) for subscribing initial 100 channels.
In those 100 channels, apart from 25DD, we're free to choose 75, be it Pay (Via Bouquets/A-La-Carte) or FTA or a combination of both, provided that we need to pay rates of pay channels accordingly, in addition to the NCF.
Yes, to keep our connection active, we need to pay that 130 as NCF/Month, irrespective if we choose to subscribe Pay channels or not
