Sorry, its 30th NOV.

Point 1 was completed as late as 15th Nov or later as some broadcasters didnt publish the details.
Same with Point 2

I hope it does not get delayed beyond 1st jan 19

Bro what is Distributor Retail Price ??? Can DPO change the prices set by Broadcasters ??? Charge higher than the set MRP by broadcasters ???

29th DEC is last date all procedures will be done by that.

DRP is cost of any channels or Bouquet given to customers by DTHs/CableTV. DRP shouldn't be more than MRP prescribed by Broadcasters.

Also DPOs have the option to price the channel less than Broadcasters MRP bearing the loss.(mostly wont happen)

Taking channels on a-la-carte and then offering self made bouquets would be way too costly, e.g. Star Plus @rs.19, so is Star Sports 1, Star Sports Select 1, Sony, Sab, and many more prime channels that make up for the base pack, 10 such channels would take the base pack to 190, adding to it is the network capacity fee, other watched channels still to be counted, DTH/MSO operators would rather feel themselves comfortable offering broadcaster bouquets.
But they'll offer their own bouquets for sure because it'll be the only way to attract more customers as the Ala-Carte price will be same on all so they will provide affordable bouquets to attract customers.

Would depend if the Operators are able to strike the bouquet deals way below MRP, be it a-la-carte or bouquet, so that they can bring base pack rates close to the existent ones, but since bulk deals aren't possible this would be a far fetched dream.

If self made boutiques allowed, then Broadcaster's discounts (upto 50%) for boutiques will be eaten by DTH/MSO operators (upto 25%)!
