I tried TRAI optimization i get half no's of channels in new plan for the money i paid for old plan.

What good for consumers? Did you take into consideration everything? If you selected all SD channels only and price is 400+
Imagine what will be the price if you select HD channels? I think Airtel currently offers infinity pack same price as you have selected sd channels?

I tried to select all channels which I watch...I am currently spending ₹300 . After trai effect it will cost 458..
Almost 50% increase in monthly expenditure that too for DTH. As internet plans are quite cheap such as alliance broadband which offers unlimited net @590.one can go for it. You can not only watch TV but also enjoy internet contents and other members can also use same wifi

It's getting quite costlier, especially with HD channels. Tata sky's 220 + 30Rs (for 5 HD channels) was quite cheap for me.

Yes even selecting 10-12 Rs discovery & Turner bouquet & just few 1-2 Rs channels it's going around 230 Rs. This NCF concept they have picked up from Tata sky HD access fees & messed up everything. In 230 I haven't even added premium paid channels like Sony zee. Why should I pay Rs 230 for useless FTA & normal 10-12 SD chennels? While currently I am getting all premium & required hd channels in same price i.e. 230 Rs with dishtv non stop pack?

UCN nagpur provides 600+ sd + 50 hd + 20 hd, sd+ of his own channels under their platium plan @ Rs300 . happily pampered for our choices, 4 TVs for entertaining senior citizens ( parents , aunt) &younger bro , me .
now looks like govt babu decides for us we only watch 25 channels & tax must go for loan waiving farmers & mayawati b'day cake

looks like main intent of govt is to collect lots of taxes in guise of customer choice

Based on the new tariff plans introduced by trai I feel our existing packs are quite satisfactory.... In front of these plans tatasky plans seems cheap
