Due to laptop issue delay to post & free upgrade done on 30/01/2022


Received calls from nearby tataplay dealer, they told we are arranged free set top box replacement, i had asked technician is it free upgrade for all the users? they told tataplay provide free upgrade if customers recharged regularly means free upgrade for all the users (minimum 6 month active), but they told system it's automatically arranged free upgrade,

If customer using sd stb & regularly recharged means they provide free hd stb, if customers using hd stb then hd pvr, if customers hd pvr/old 4k uhd stb means they provide tataplay binge+ stb,

During upgrade the connections in my location both railwire & bsnl not working, they taken the box to his office, in his office also network not work, but technician connected his mobile hotspot for software upgrade & activate my connection

Sometimes stb & remote is hanging, remote battery draining very fast, i had bought hd normal remote it's working fine,

Pq & aq both are good, but sometimes is hanging, boot times take above 1 minute

I don't agree tata binge box looks classy and tata play logo looks much better.

Despite a big remote with too many Keys it lacks the fav button! Same with tata play but it is justified as it has few keys only as compared to airtel
In both cases they lacks fav button and now guide button also removed in Tata play

Seems this box is primarily for ott users
