Good News Upgraded to Sun Direct Max 4K

Upgraded to Sundirect 4k Max.
Not yet activated as no one knows how to activate it,they are telling tomorrow it will be activated.
My Initial impression is WOW...
The smoothness of software and tactility of remote is top-notch.
Iam currently using both airtel xstream and tataplay binge they are noway close to it.
As everyone knows number button is not there in remote.
I can't comment on picture quality as the box is not active.
But iam very happy to have it may be the first box in my region.

Does we need to realign the dish? With old alignment for HD box HD channel signal quality is only 33-39%.Is it Ok?

Dealer should be able to activate it within minutes. Your dealer is lazy. My box was activated in front of me. Box was still in its packaging.

Were your previous signal levels good (80-90%)?

Also, if you can please post a snap of your signal diagnostics?

With your old box, were you able to get a good signal in these channels?


Generally, an upgrade in box won't require a reallignment....Low signal Quality can be attributed due to bad weather and other reasons

There are no signal diagnostics in this box.
If there is good signal or enough signal the info option would work. In some cases, it does not work at all.
However, the signal reception of this box is generally good.
I recently shifted my house and upon removing my 60m+ long cable I found that it was cut in one part and barely hanging on. Which explains the loss in signal level buy overall the box was able to handle low signal just fine.
