brother i think u know the hindi language

in tamilnadu 96 percent percent people dont know the hindi language

they know only tamil language they watch only the tamil channels not hindi

you purchase one of the new d2h connection (not videocon other name is x dth ) it has more than 400 channels u know only the hindi language,,in this 400 channel they give only the 30 hindi language channels others are tamil, malayam, gujrati language channels . you paid for the 30 channels amount is 250 rupees.....are u expect the more channels or not in hindi language ......

signal problem are also u faced .... are u like this dth

Bro, please think practically. Only because majority of Tamil people know only Tamil, if they are adding all Tamil channels (almost more than 60 channels) and Tamil service, the other language people will also demand the same.

Kerala people will demand around 50 Malayalam channels, Andhra people will expect 50 Telugu channels, Karnataka people will expect 50 Kannada channels, Maharashtra people will expect 50 Marathi channels, Odisha people will expect ~30 to 40 Odia channels, and so on.. So, totally, D2H or any DTH needs to provide more than 300 channels to accomodate each language..

Do you think this is possible and realistic.. We need to consider the satellite space for these much channels.. For your expectation, cable TV is the best solution..

I don't know how to explain this much better than this...

Yes, I also agree South language people should go for Digital cable, if they truly want to watch their native tongue channels only.

I cant understand how to drill this knowledge into the thread starter. Videocon D2h or any dth service has to look into the demands of all the ppl from whole of India. They cant give you all regional channels. If you want all regional channel you need to opt for local digital cable. There are multitude of channels in each regional language. And if we consider around 10 major languages and assume that each of them has about 30 channels(there are double this number)a dth will need to provide around 300 regional channels! Is this practical and realistic? Considering the TP space crunch being faced by the dth industry and the cost of TP space- how can any dth firm do this. Apart from these regional channels, we have sports, national, music, infotainment, international,lifestyle and other niche channels. Where is the space for them? Be realistic practical,my friend- what you expect is beyond the capacity of any dth.
Okay, I agree with the points you raised about signal issues, software and Cc which need to resolved.

this is the same i am telling thread starter. for example if majority people of maharashtra do not understand other language then its not dth's fault , and d2h gives sufficient regional channel to all regional channel . if need is still not completed then local digital cable is final choice .

ya others point are correct . like in rain d2h is waste . degraded PQ in both HD and SD channel . inspite of having two 54mhz tp for HD (in which 22 ch could be given in dream PQ) d2h compresses the picture lot . d2h should learn something from ts which gives 13 HD channel in brilliant PQ in just 1 36mhz tp.
some more grievances of most of the d2h customer is no stb software update and no ss2 .

most of the people didnt like videocon d2h

boss u know or not, i dont know this is a analog to digital generation

please dont told any reason,, do or die is the best deal

first u avoid the analog

please anyone talk to the videocon senior official staff about the regional channels addition, otherwise we loss the customers

please dont told go to local cable, analog is expired thing ok,,,,,,,,

we want the permanent solution..............................

For that expected monthly rental of 100-400only.

Better he shud take permission to start new company and help all tamils people in and out of tamil nadu.

Dear members, please don't waste your timing by replying to regional channel addition like local cable..

The thread starter is saying " don't go for local cable. analog is expired". I think he is not aware of cable TV digitization (DAS) which can satisfy his needs for sure...

For other complaints, we can share our thoughts..

in future i think within one year sundirect will give more tan 100 tamil channels and 100 tamil feed channels...monthly rental is 200 only.....
