why airtel not promoting

for example tata sky has been promoting their dvr very well.but airtel and d2h are not promoting their dvr why???

d2h dvr is complete failure.That's why they aren't promoting.
They are promoting 22hd channels.

About airtel dvr-They are selling enough dvr or not interested in dth business.I haven't seen airtel dth ad. on tv since long time.

videocon d2h hd dvr is not a failure so better not comment if u do not know, currently its only available in select cities just like tata sky hd dvr was available in select cities when launched, its availability will slowly be increased

tata sky promoted hd dvr bcoz they do not have usb recording facility in hd stb, they want to make high profits by selling hd dvr. take this simple case , if a customer buys a hd stb and then attaches a 1TB hard disk to it for recording, it will all come at approximately Rs 7500 to max but tata sky is selling half its capacity 500GB HD DVr at about Rs 6500 , this is the reason why tata sky does not want to activate usb recording on hd stb while videocon d2h is not greedy like them and will activate usb recording on all hd stb and soon on sd stb

Even if you order tata sky HD+ online, they will provide at any location in india hence they are promoting.
Airtel is not promoted well because ceo told that HD market in india is not ready to adapt. And because of this most channels are not interested to launch HD feed too early.

again I am telling you to not ask members to post something.. he may be wrong.. if you are right, correct his comments and post the true info.. but dont ask him to not post.. you also did this saying Max is part of all base packs and later mentioned that it is not part of south sports pack alone... same is the case here... i hope you understand..
