They had one Punjabi channel in past known as Alpha Punjabi. It was a great success in 1998. I really wonder why they closed it. people used to like it a lot. It was a good Punjabi Entertainment channel

They are of same channel ... They may have decided to launch a gec or music channel and afterwards decided to launch movie channel .. just see that they also have pitaara movies name in punjabi too
