Zee TV and Sony TV channels are bound to be Rs 12 in less than a year from now,if they do not get BARC ratings in top 10 channels,with this pricing they are digging their own grave

Realistic price for Zee Cafè HD. Just ₹6. Coming down from ₹19. Even Zee Movies HD, &Pictures HD &Flix HD and &Prive HD are fairly priced at ₹12. &TV is going ₹12. &xplor HD has increased to ₹12.

Actually this is Master Stroke from ZEEL compare to Star & Sony so far.
Especially in the Movie Genre ZEEL have placed all its offerings @HD within Rs.12 - which will lead TV Viewers to Subscribe their Package as well as Stand Alone Basis.
Only problem is in the GEC Genre where particularly Regional HD Channels gone beyond Rs.20/-. Zee Bangla HD @ Rs.25/- is quite Higher in terms of Subscription is Concerned.

This time this is Clear Shot from Zee to overcome all the burdens and after seeing Sony's RIO - ZEEL undoubtedly hits a Six towards Viewers. But putting Zee TV within Rs.12/- seems Ego Clash with other Eminent Broadcasters. Hence it went on Stand Alone Price.

Not only Zee Vajwa but Zee Zest HD (for Adtv Viewers) will also Come under New RIO and every DPO will have to Sign New RIO. But adding Pending Channels from Broadcasters are Sole discrimination of Direct Platform Operator.
Same situation goes for TATA|sky for not having &xplor HD. And d2h not having Zee Classic as for now.

After 3 months or 6 months whenever the Merger Accomplished - both ZEEL & Sony TV Channels will run on their Own entity and Identity. So Separated RIO will raise no problem as of now.

If Zee doesn't bring some extra ordinary new sets of shows of Zee TV. &TV will flourish just because of the fact of it being included in bouquets.

@asgworldindia bro. Pricing regional channels high won't affect it. Most here pays for the package because of the channel itself. They don't care about rest of the channels in the bouquets. Specially, at places where they don't speak Hindi. In rural Bengal. Pricing Zee Bangla won't affect viewers but Zee itself whose reach will shrink.

You would be shocked. Zee's current most popular show is Pavitra Rishta which is a rerun and airs at daytime. I am pretty sure this gets more rating than even other primetime shows. This is why I don't believe in this rating system.
